The Renovation Of The Barn

Once an old, unused barn on Quinton Green Farm, our building had stood empty for years, quiet and forgotten. It had no heating, no electricity, and nothing inside that made it feel welcoming. But we saw its potential—a place where people could come together, relax, and enjoy good food and coffee.
With a lot of hard work, determination, and love, we set to work transforming it into the café you see today. Every beam, every wall, every little detail was carefully renovated by us—my mum and I—with invaluable help from our friends and family. We wired it, heated it, painted it, and filled it with warmth, making it a space that feels like home the moment you walk through the door.
I couldn’t have done this without my mum. Her energy, guidance, and endless support made this dream possible. So, a massive thank you to her—truly, none of this would exist without you.
Now, our barn is alive again, full of laughter, the smell of coffee, and the joy of good company. We hope that every visit to Davey’s feels as special to you as building it has been for us
